What SubSnap does

SubSnap lets you paste a supported short-video link or upload a video file, then generates translated subtitles so you can watch the result.

Data we process

• Video links you submit.
• Video files you upload.
• Generated subtitles and temporary result links.
• Email address used for temporary login and credit access.
• Basic usage and credit counters needed to prevent abuse.

Temporary storage

Uploaded and generated video files are temporary. The current product target is automatic deletion after 24 hours. Do not use SubSnap as permanent video hosting.

AI processing

Video audio and transcript data may be sent to configured AI providers for transcription, translation, and subtitle refinement. Do not upload content you are not allowed to process.

Account deletion

The current temporary account system lets you delete the local browser account state from Settings. A production database-backed version will include server-side account deletion and data export controls.
